Nordstrom has announced an opportunity for customers to step into a world where sport meets culture with the launch of New Balance @ The Corner. The limited-time pop-up promises to bring the ethos of New Balance to life through an immersive experience.

The three-month-long installation marks the longest feature of a brand at The Corner, a space designated for ongoing series of pop-ups and brand takeovers and that sits just blocks from Central Park.

“We’re excited to connect our customers to the rich heritage of New Balance, while showcasing the vibrant culture of New York City through New Balance @ The Corner NYC,” says Olivia Kim, senior vice president of creative at Nordstrom. “The collaboration celebrates craftsmanship and innovation through an experiential space for customers to explore exciting product and immersive experiences.”

To emphasize movement and highlight the brand’s signature color, The Corner launched with “Grey Days” focusing on classic New Balance products and the footwear’s latest offerings.

But June has brought the two-month long focus on the vibrancy of the city. Dubbed “Found in New York,” The Corner celebrates summer culture, sounds and sights of the boroughs.

CJ Hendry, a Brooklyn-based artist, and Brooklyn Grange Farm are providing a vibrant “In Bloom” experience in June.

July’s “Subway Series” will emphasize the interconnection of the five boroughs through sport and culture with a curated display of clothing and shoes that showcase design and community.

Beyond the monthly-themes, The Corner will offer shoe, accessory and apparel drops monthly for women, men and children. Additionally, Corner shoppers will get access to limited edition collaborations and customization options offered exclusively at Nordstrom NYC.
