The 6 God has made record-breaking history by earning his 10th diamond certification.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) bestows diamond certifications to albums or singles that sell at least 10 million units in the United States. RIAA recently confirmed that Drake’s “Hold On, We’re Going Home” and “Best I Ever Had” hit that mark and catapulted him above every recording artist.
Champagne Papi’s earlier diamond certifications include: “God’s Plan”, “One Dance”, “Hotline Bling”, and five more in which he’s featured – “SICKO MODE” (Travis Scott ft. Drake), “Life Is Good” (Future ft. Drake), “Work” (Rihanna ft. Drake), “No Guidance” (Chris Brown ft. Drake), and “Love Me” (Lil Wayne ft. Drake)
According to RIAA’s data Drizzy also already held more platinum certifications than any other artists, and by a wide margin. He holds 90. Eminem is in second place with 52. Singles or albums that hit one million units sold in the U.S. receive RIAA platinum certification.
