In three separate drops Nescafé and Swoon, a sugar-free beverage brand, will capitalize on Gen Z’s incessant interest in innovating how to enjoy coffee.

The latest trend emanates from TikTok, of course, and it involves adding lemon to coffee. Nescafé says TikTok posts on the coffee lemonade exceed 90M. An appreciable number of people on social platforms claim the combo melts fat away. But health experts have offered a resounding, “Uhm, no it doesn’t!”

Irrespective of any health claims, the Nescafé, Swoon collab seizes on the heightened interests of the coffee curious and offers the disparate beverages in a kit.

The limited-edition package contains a 300mL bottle of Nescafé Espresso Concentrate Black, two 12 fl. oz. cans of Swoon Classic Lemonade and a recipe card to ensure appropriate measurements and mixing. Swoon’s promise is “zero sugar.” So, the kit also includes one 300mL bottle of Nescafé Espresso Concentrate Sweet Vanilla for anyone who wants to sweeten the blend.

“We’re always looking for fresh, unexpected ways to tap into trends that capture Gen Z’s attention. Whether it’s the latest espresso hack or customizing espresso-based drinks to fit every unique taste, it’s our commitment to stay at the forefront of innovation,” said Felipe Acosta, Nescafé senior brand marketing manager. Our new, limited-time espresso lemonade kit, created in collaboration with Swoon, is the perfect example of this approach.”

The kits will become available on a first-come, first-serve basis at nescafe.com/NEClemonade. The first drop will start at noon ET on June 13. The next will be June 20 and June 27 while supplies last.

The brands also provide instructions for anyone who misses the limited-edition offer. Just add two tablespoons of Nescafé Espresso Concentrate Black mixed with a 12 oz. (1 can) Swoon Classic Lemonade in a glass with ice and stir.
