Peacock Watches has released a limited edition four-piece collection of vintage timepieces with distinct hues. The blush, forest green, bright white, and almond colored faces provide stark backdrops for the brand’s distinct semi-circle-shaped second hand.
The Peacock Perfection Classic 1953 “Aircraft Hand” pays homage to the original “Aircraft Hand” released during the 1970s by the Liaoning Watch Factory.
Fire, not paint, produces the shimmering iridescent color on the titanium alloy hands. The process involved heating the metal over a naked flame to produce the purplish-blue hue.
Other distinct details include hour and minute hands shaped by more than 100 precision cuts and art features twice a month in the date window.
The new colors for the limited edition $1900 timepieces are named for colors associated with water, frost, dawn and sunrise.
